Reviving My Trusty Burgundy Hottas: A Shoe Transformation Story

Here’s something that’s worth knowing. I have had these for Eight nine years I bought them secondhand I paid nine quid for them and they were burgundy and I have worn the shit out of them Now I didn’t think they would last me that long But as you can see, I mean they they have had a lot of wear but they’re still going strong, but they did look very scruffy and I never I then stopped wearing them now because I am now driving and I don’t like driving in thick soles I wanted to bring them back to life Didn’t want to spend the money on them buying black dye but I found some brown shoe dye in a cupboard and there was enough of it just to I wiped these over with some Isopropyl alcohol and then I gave them as much many coats of dye as were left in the bottle which was about kind of One on the back and an extra one on the front and I put new laces in gave them a good polish and there we go Always worth when you’ve got something that’s nice quality. These are Hottas and this design is just super super comfortable Makes me look a little bit old lady ish, but you know what? I don’t care
