Elements Festival 2022: A Weekend of Music, Magic, and Memories

Let’s recap this year’s Elements Festival. As per tradition, we got our hair braided with Beauty and Braids out in PA, and then hit up Walmart for the necessary supplies. I’m really not sure what I’m doing here, but I love my fit. We checked into our official hotel Thursday night, got set up, and then we’re super bummed to hear that the festival got canceled on day one due to the storm. That didn’t stop us, however. We still partied in the hotel room, had a great time, and then decided to be adventurous and then head into the fest. We snuck into the afters and caught tapey, and he gave us three whole sets, and it was a great time. We met up with friends and explored a little bit. The grounds were an absolute mess because of the storm. Everything was super muddy, but the vibes were still high. Everyone was really having a great time and laughing and making the most of it. Storm cleared up on day two, and we took the shuttles into the fest, and it was gorgeous out. The structures were so cool to see. The stages were beautiful. This was the water stage, and it was shaped like an octopus, and it matched my mermaid outfit. Everything was just so unique and so much fun. I can’t believe I ran into AJ from Flow Star and got to spin with him. It was insane. We got to play with his giant Flow Star, and that thing is really hard. Once I met up with my friends, then we started hitting stages and dancing. I was really surprised by the production value of the stages. There was so much constantly going on. It really put in a lot of effort to make all of this really interesting, and I did not expect to see this guy flying out of the air at one point. Day two was Subtronics Day, which I was so excited for. We got to see him at the water stage, which was more of an intimate venue, and it was packed. I got to say, though, his sets were so different than what I was used to. It was so much fun, and everyone was having a great time. And then to follow that up with another Subtronics set at Earth stage, it was incredible. I was so freaking close. I even got to make it up to the rail and head banged at the rail for the first time to Subtronics. I never had that opportunity before, and it was such a core memory. Despite the weather being kind of poopy and ruining day one for us, day two and day three was still absolutely phenomenal. I’ll never forget all the things that I saw and the people that I met. I thought that the fest was so unique and so different, and I could not believe this was so close to my home. You could really tell there was a lot of thought that went into the stage designs. There was so many performances that went along with the music, which was not something I expected. These fire performers killed it. I thought the sound for the stages was amazing. The lights were really beautiful, and the fireworks were such a nice touch. Elements was definitely worth it, and you should definitely check it out.
