The Fight for Democracy: Pushing Back Against Supreme Court Corruption

in a stunning 6-3 decision. Do you feel that? Do you feel how tense you just got when you heard that phrase? 6-3 decision? Every bone in your body is like, what rights did we just lose to this corrupt Supreme Court? And here’s, I’m here to tell you something. It didn’t used to be like that. No, Supreme Court, the American people used to feel like the Supreme Court would protect their rights. They’d be a safeguard against the rest of the government as that went crazy. But now it’s gone so far off the rails that we have to push back. We need to be using the checks and balances in our government, the presidency, the Congress, to push back on the Supreme Court. The open corruption has gotten out of control. And the way to do that is by reaching out and following United for Democracy. United for Democracy is a coalition or a team up of 140 different state, local, and national organizations who want to put pressure on Congress and on future presidents to make sure that the Supreme Court is put back on track. So the Supreme Court starts caring about the American people and the Constitution, and not the billionaires who are currently paying for Supreme Court justices to go on lavish vacations during the recess they’re on right now.
