Did you know that vitamin D isn’t just a vitamin? It’s actually a hormone. That’s right our body to produce it when we’re exposed to sunlight and it plays a critical role in keeping us healthy by regulating calcium, boosting our immune system and even lifting our mood. But here’s the thing, when it’s cold outside and I’m not feeling great and the sun’s not out, without that vital sunlight my nerves start to feel a bit down and sluggish. That’s when I go and have a sunbed. I have a sunbed and I feel instantly better.
