Reviving Vintage: The Black 90s Boat Neck Top from BeanbyJess

My name is Jess, also known as BeanbyJess and I sell secondhand clothes online. Except this week we’re selling dead stock. If you’re not familiar with dead stock, it’s pretty much a run of products that were manufactured at one point and not sold for whatever reason. We are here to give them a second chance. So lo and behold, this is our black 90s boat neck top. I am obsessed with it and I’ve been wearing it to death lately. It’s genuinely just so flattering and goes with literally anything. So easy to layer with as well. So I thought I’d answer some questions and delve a little bit deeper into this piece for you guys. As you can see the neckline is not too high, it’s not too square, it literally just sits perfectly. It’s got this beautiful subtle sheen to it. The light is kind of picking it up a lot more than it would you would see it when you’re wearing it or in person. I’m sitting right in front of a window so you can clearly see. It’s a very subtle sort of sheen but it’s just a fun little point of difference so it’s not stark black. I’ll just show you the tag quickly. It’s from the brand BIA Limited which is an iconic 2000s Australian brand and it’s 97% polyester and 3% spandex. So it does have stretch to it. I wouldn’t consider it stretchy but as you can see it does have a bit of give and I feel like that is perfect because it kind of moulds to you in all the right places. She also has an invisible zipper at the back so it’s super easy to get in and out of. So I was able to source these in only sizes 10 and 12. I’m wearing a size 10 and it fits me well. If you want the specific measurements before they go live just message me and I’ll send them over to you. So they’ll each be $33 AUD plus shipping and they’ll be live on my website Thursday 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. I hope you guys love this top as much as I do. It is such a wardrobe staple, so flattering and I absolutely love it and I hope you guys love it too. Anyway, I will see you on Thursday.
