Dust vs. Xbox Series X: A Cleaning Journey

So this is my extremely dusty Xbox Series X. I actually feel ashamed of myself. So how on earth did it get that bad? Listen how loud it is when I’m gaming. Well let’s face it, it’s my own problem. It can’t really vent properly here and it was even worse in my old setup. So I figured I’d just open it up and try and give it a clean. I’ve never really cleaned an Xbox before so I always thought it’d be hard but there’s only like two screws to take off then you just unpop it. They’re annoying torque screws and I don’t have a torque screwdriver small enough so I had to go and get one real quick. I guess they’ll come in handy when this Xbox gets dusty again. So I popped the cover off to have a look inside and just look at the dust come off. And there it is, my beautiful clean Xbox Series X. My God, look at the state of that. So I had to get the Hoover out and that couldn’t even pick it up. Just look how thick this dust is. That is years. To be precise, I think it’s five years of dust. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Then I unclipped the fan to give that a clean and that was just as bad to be honest. Look at the state of it. I had to take this into a different room to clean it because it was flying everywhere when I was spinning the fan around with the Hoover. But it cleaned up well and then I put it all back together. I wonder if the Xbox will still be loud because it was loud anyway, but it was even louder when playing games, like extremely loud. So I hoovered up all the remaining dust and it was go time. And it was extremely quiet even when playing a game.
