cut of World War Z had an 18 minute battle in Russia of humans versus zombies and it was like an all-out humans versus zombies to kind of win it all in Moscow in Russia this was shot but it did make the final cut of the film because the original ending began like that so this is this is how World War Z originally ended it began with Lane and Seagin who was played by Daniela Kirstes the Israeli soldier from Jerusalem flying to Moscow where they are immediately drafted into the army being built to fight the zombies instead of going to the WHO building the original ending features a time jump showing a bearded Lane still fighting in Russia during the winter it’s during this time he realized that the zombies move slower in the cold giving the humans an advantage to these conditions later on Lane Seagin and a character named Simon began traveling through Russia to go to the United States and save Lane’s family World War Z’s final scene had them arriving in America and storming the country to find his family so that’s how it originally ended it got very poor responses not just from test audiences but also from Brad Pitt and the executives at Paramount I wish they would release that obviously they never you see some footage can there is so in the epilogue with the voiceover of Brad Pitt’s Jerry talking about we’re getting together we’re learning how to fight there’s actually shots of the Russian battle you can see in that sequence and they there’s no more than three shots you can see multiple images and video and film shots of some of the battle sequences but it’s it sounds interesting but it kind of it’s too convoluted like that should be a whole movie Russia yeah as opposed to that tacking that on at the third act of your film so I think it I agree with making the change and it didn’t suit the what the first hour and a half of the movie ended up being
