Title: Analysis and Commentary on Recent Player Acquisitions and Squad Dynamics in Football

Pedro Neto, Kiernan Jewsby-Hall, Philipp Jorgensen, Amari Kelleyman, Aaron Anselmino, Renato Vega, Caleb Wiley. I think that’s all the ins. Ian Mattson’s gone, Lewis Hall, Amari Hutchinson. Almost impossible to predict. The whole experiment, I was so prepared to say, maybe we’ve been a bit harsh on it. Maybe it’s just a long-term project. But I think probably you want a bit of consolidation by now rather than another £160 million spent on another 10 plays brought in. I mean, what plan is it that has eight goalkeepers? Bringing in Pedro Neto, I think he’s a really good player when fit. Chelsea, you’ve got a lot of players who have injury issues. I mean, Rhys James, Ben Chilwell missed huge chunks of last season. They’ve added another one where they’ve got Mudric and Maduweke and potentially Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling. I just think if you’re a player who’s somehow managed to survive there for two or three years, it must be incredibly dispiriting. You see the squad start to sort of sort itself out. Oh yeah, okay, I can see what’s happening here. Oh no, they just signed another dozen players and it’s all up in the air again. This is what revolution looks like. I’m quite happy with the status quo.
