We had a right laugh playing Ivanhoe Golf Club not too far away from Tring. We were on holiday with some mates down there and they don’t play so often. So Josiah’s played a bit more and Dan there is picking it up a lot more. But as you can see from their handicaps, they’re only really just getting going. So take it easy in the comments. Morgan and I play a bit more regularly. And honestly, this is such a great course. It’s cheap to play. It was 10 quid. You’re not expecting the best conditions, but it was just so enjoyable. Lots to think about, lots of undulations, lots of breaks, lots of interesting holes. You’ve got to lay up quite a lot. Anyway, basically, this is a short par three. Josiah’s hooked it left and that chip of his runs up the bank and he’s going to have a long putt for par. This is where Dan’s went. So he wants to just get it over the brow of that hill and race it onto the green. Then it’ll cut down towards the hole from left to right. But he didn’t quite give it enough. It was pretty good effort though. Morgan’s on the next tee box, on the ninth tee box. So it’s a difficult one because he’s got a 60 degree wedge and he’s going on a downhill light. It’s never easy. He doesn’t quite catch it and it nearly hits the flag, but it didn’t. So he’s also going to have a fairly long putt. Beautiful sunset. Josiah just lets one out there. It looks like he has a little Tommy squeaker there. It was good for length, wasn’t it? But not quite perfect on distance. Other way round for Morgan. Fairly good line, but couldn’t quite get the length on it. There we go. He makes his four. This is Josiah for his four. No, he can’t believe he’s let that one go. Here’s Dan. Can he make his par? He would absolutely love that. But he’s bashed it to the right a little bit. So unlucky for him. Has to settle for a four. Not too bad though. Can I get a birdie? That would be quite nice to finish on, wouldn’t it? You know it makes sense.
