In the early hours of a seemingly ordinary Monday morning,
a luxury yacht was anchored peacefully
near the beautiful shores of Porticello, Sicily.
On board were 22 souls, friends,
family and crew
enjoying what they expected to be another day in paradise.
At around 5 a m, a tornado descended upon the sea,
and what followed was a desperate battle for survival.
It sank rapidly,
leaving its passengers and crew to fend for their lives in the cold,
dark waters. Out of the 22 people on board,
15 were rescued, but six remain missing.
On board were British tech tycoon Mike Lynch.
In the chaos of the waves,
Charlotte lost her grip on her daughter.
But then, in what can only be described as a miracle,
the waves brought Sophia back to her mother.
