we were staying outside of the town of Kotor
and it’s about like
a 45 minutes to an hour walk into town
so we’re waiting for a taxi this morning with all of our stuff
and then the lady at the hostel says
as she tried to call for us
there’s a blockade in town
they’re not gonna come for hours
so now we don’t know if the bus would be able to come cause of the blockade
they suggested we hitchhike
so we are walking we’re gonna try to hitchhike and we
we might be walking for an hour with all of our stuff
but this is travel baby
we’re about a third of the way
we had a popsicle
it is definitely hot not gonna lie
but we’re keeping spirits high
we’re like
nearing the halfway we’ve tried to put the thumb out a couple times
but the cars were full and then two cars with empty spots just passed
as we tried to put the thumb out
they passed so
thanks for that y’all
okay we stopped in the shade for a minute
I put on my hat and I’m like
I got a new lease right now
me discovering how to age 29
how wonderful
