Welcome to grips APEX Legends.
Hide and seek. This is how you play.
As for general rules,
failure to follow these rules or grief our lobbies will result in bans,
your customs and giveaway.
So please don’t be that person.
Let’s start off with the seekers,
as your objective is pretty simple.
You want to eliminate all hiders by any means necessary.
Rule number one is don’t use any scan legends like Crypto,
Bloodhound or Seer. Dog is allowed,
but just don’t use your ultimate
as it scans people and it’s kind of unfair.
Scans make it a little bit too easy to find hiders.
We like to avoid that here.
Number two is wait for the end of the drop ship’s path to jump.
This gives time for the hiders to hide
and maybe get some loot
once you drop landed a POI close to the ship’s end path.
After that, start looting and taking out the hiders.
And after the rules for the hiders,
your basic objective is to stay alive as long as possible.
Skirmisher legends are recommended
as they can evade the seekers better than any other class,
although there are a few other legends that have their uses.
Rule No. 1 is don’t pick up weapons.
You’re hiding so you don’t need a weapon.
You’d be surprised at how hard this is for some people.
This also means no grenades and no melee.
As for legend abilities, they are allowed unless they do damage,
so No caustic traps, Watson fences,
or anything like that. The only exceptions to that rule are ashenair
and Ballistic Smart Pistol.
You’re allowed to hold any and all healing items,
as well as every single survival item.
If your teammates go down,
you can revive them. And if they get finished,
you can revive them at the Respawn Beacons.
And obviously, if you get found,
you can absolutely run for your life.
In our customs,
the hiding team that survives the longest gets to be the seekers.
In the next game,
this could be through the seekers eliminating everybody else,
or it could be a heelock, which happens quite a bit.
And finally, if the winning team has kills in the match summary,
the next highest placing team without kills will be chosen
as they followed the rules.
