Creative Lunch Ideas for a Third Grader’s First Day of School

my daughter’s first day of third grade
and I wanted to make sure her lunch was perfect
I gave her a whole bunch of options and definitely stuffed this bento box
my girl loves a Turkey and cheese with lettuce sandwich
and I decided to use the butterfly cutter on it
cutting up some strawberries
and gonna throw in some blueberries with them as well
I did pull out my tackle box of tools and added a few food picks
the leafy ones for the strawberries get used the most
then I’m using the crinkle cutter for the cucumbers and the carrots
throwing in some cheese balls
and because she doesn’t need any utensils
I’m gonna go ahead and use that middle compartment
and add some salami roll ups and some almonds
finishing off with a little brownie
and I decided to add some color and uh
use my food markers to decorate the little butterfly sandwich
which I think turned out pretty darn good
I added a note because it was her first day
and I was very anxious to see that she had eaten almost everything
