if you’re a Fitbit person
I have some terrible news
this Fitbit smartwatch Fitbit smartwatches in general 😦
when Google bought Fitbit a couple years ago
it made a lot of sense because the company didn’t have its own smart watches
but now it does it actually just released the Pixel Watch 3 last week
and as part of that apparently
they’re not gonna be selling the Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Verso watches anymore
it always sucks when there’s something that people really love
a big company steps in and then eventually dismantles it
but we can’t say we didn’t see it coming
it was really just a matter of time until these Fitbit watches were no longer
besides the Pixel Watch has all the Fitbit features kind of baked into it now
but there may be a silver lining
although we’re still waiting for Google to confirm
it seems that there are more activity band style trackers
like this one will remain in development
which is good because they’re a lot cheaper than smart watches
but these watches were also cheaper than the Pixel Watch 🤨🤨🤨
not totally sure how to feel about it
