Well met! I’m Mitchell Loewen,
lead game designer for battlegrounds,
and I’m here to tell you all about everything new
coming in season eight.
We’ve got an awesome new mechanic called trinkets.
Unique passive effects that are offered on turn 6 and 9.
The trinkets you’re shown
are partially based on what you’re already playing,
so you’re more likely to see options
that take your warband to the next level.
We’ve also got a new hero mayor and the manager,
who lets you choose an extra trinket early on turn five.
There are a bunch of new minions you’ll find in Bob’s Tavern,
like the over summoning undead package
that rewards you for summoning more minions
than you can fit on your board.
Some fan favorites are returning to the tavern as well
with minions like Lightbringer Enforcer and Mecha Draxis.
There are also a ton of awesome rewards to unlock with the season pass,
so get ready to dominate battlegrounds in Season 8, coming August 20th!
