the guy I bought this rug from on Facebook Marketplace
actually told me his wife had died on the rug
a week before I came
I promised him I would name one of the songs on the album after her
my first album ever comes out August 23rd
that’s this Friday
it’s called Garden State Vampire because I live in the Garden State
I don’t sleep and when I’m awake
it’s nighttime
