Okay, I am not the one that came up with this or thought of this,
but I saw it another teacher’s TikTok,
and I don’t remember who, but I’m sorry.
These are the emotional support chickens
that I’m praying are going to help my classroom.
So how I plan to use these is similar to quiet critters.
Whenever I see students actively working hard following directions,
they get to hold an emotional support chicky for that activity
or center or class
whatever it is. Um,
I only have 10, so I have 25 kids,
so some of them are not obviously going to be able to have them.
So I’m hoping this will motivate kids to really follow directions.
But it’s also going to give students the opportunity
who are always doing the right thing,
that positive praise and reinforcement that they really do deserve.
