and I wanna tell you about an exciting program
that the Arctic Slope Community Foundation is carrying out this year
At ASCF we have the Success for Non Profit Audit Preparation program
or what we like to refer to as “SNAP” for short
and this is a financial literacy for organizations program
so what it is, is a program where we have monthly workshops
that go over various financial concepts
and how it applies to organizations
and it’s leadership. We also have a licensed CPA that comes to visit you on site
and evaluates the way that you’re currently managing your finances
all of this is designed to help prepare the organization for audit
when it comes to managing money
