Reason No. 1 why music hits different for Generation Xers
MTV dude. For other generations,
music is strictly an auditory experience for the most part.
Baby boomers, for instance,
would open up their stereo cabinet,
which reeked of lemon scented pledge,
put the record player on, and sit back and listen to their music.
Younger generations throw their AirPods in,
shut the world out, and listen to their music.
Gen X we watched our music and as a result,
have memories which are both auditory and visual.
