This new Indian restaurant just opened up in Waikiki,
so let’s go check it out since I know everyone will ask.
They do have a parking garage in the back
where the restaurant validates.
To start, we tried their mixed Berry lassi
and also tried mango lassi for the first time,
and now I know why it’s so popular.
For appetizers, we got pani puri,
which I’ve always wanted to try,
and it’s just fun to fill and eat those crispy little balls.
Of course, we had to try momos,
which are Nepali dumplings.
These were in a super flavorful sesame tomato broth,
but the samosa chaat was probably my favourite dish.
Everything in that bowl works so well together.
For entrees,
we got my favorite chicken tikka masala and their lamb coconut curry.
And instead of my usual garlic naan,
we tried their sesame naan,
and I love that roasted nutty taste with the curries.
And we tried their onion kulcha,
which is non stuff with chopped onions.
So be sure to check out Namaste Restaurant in Waikiki.
