Okay, so me and Jace are at a shelter.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes
that LED up to this point,
and I think the biggest one,
even though my circumstance was different,
because of my mental illness,
I mean, the biggest one is not protecting my son more.
Because a lot of women will say,
oh, well,
he was abusive to me, but he didn’t abuse the children.
Well, if your partner, husband,
significant other, whatever,
abuses you in front of your children,
no matter what, verbal,
physical, anything, that is child abuse.
So they shouldn’t even have that on the forms.
If he abuses you, he abuses your children.
