Wedding Photographers: The Importance of Backup Plans and Redoing Wedding Photos

I saw this post in a Facebook group and was like,
I got you. You guys know,
I unfortunately hate my own wedding photos,
so I’m a sucker for this kind of thing.
So every year, I like to help out one or two couples
that don’t love their wedding photos.
And in this case,
they didn’t even receive a huge chunk of their wedding photos.
So, photographers,
let’s make sure we’re prepared,
and then when we think we’re prepared,
prepare a little bit more.
Like, make sure your camera is writing to two cards,
and then back those cards up.
And then when you have your backups,
back it up one more time. Minimum 4 backups.
If you don’t have a camera that writes to do cards,
you should,
especially if you’re doing events that are like one time things,
because for that one, you’re just putting that risk onto your clients.
They’re the ones who truly lose out.
But if you don’t, or if you shoot film where obviously you can’t,
then you should be shooting two cameras simultaneously.
That way, if you do have a loss,
there’s another camera and you don’t miss a chunk of the day.
But anyways, let’s go redo these wedding photos.
