Grateful for Modern Medicine: A Reflection on Survival and Progress

Well, thank god for medication
and the gift of smart people who do research
and scientists and labs and all that stuff.
It’s beautiful. It’s beautiful.
I really could. I really am like, wow,
you’re so useful. Like,
what would I do? What would I do back in the day?
Like, I just have to die.
And you’re also gonna die a witch, dude.
You know, it’s crazy.
I was always thinking. I was thinking that.
I’m like, man,
I would have been that unlucky
fucking the. Back in the day.
That just died from Mersa.
Yeah, you should have been dead.
Or, like,
even the cold. Like,
if I got a cold, I would just die.
Back in the days. Yeah,
I don’t stand a shot. Back then. No,
I’m out. I’m out.
I was. I like a light.
I’d be a fatality from the day I breathe my first breath.
