If you have also been in need of like,
a financial glow up.
But every time you go to read one of those finance books
or consume the content, you kind of just, like,
give up or you get bored. Same.
So I started this new habit where once a month,
I get my manicure that lasts me like three to four weeks.
And I bring my Kindle and I’m reading this book,
I will teach you to be rich
by Ramit Sethi.
And the reason it’s so great is cause I will finish a chapter in like
the over an hour that I’m sitting at the nail salon.
And each chapter in that book,
first of all, he speaks very like,
almost like you’re listening to a podcast.
Like, it’s not boring at all,
and it makes sense. Like,
it’s kind of dumb down. The best part is every chapter is like,
for example, the first one was on, like,
which credit card to use and sign up for.
And so at the end of that chapter,
there’s a task for you to do for the rest of the week.
So since I’m a little slower with the finance stuff and like,
making the time for it,
I then have the next three weeks where I’m not getting my manicure.
To do the task, switch my checkings account,
switch my savings account,
you know, set up auto pay.
Whatever the task of that chapter was,
I then have a Couple weeks.
when I know that my next nail appointments coming up,
I really want to move on to the next chapter.
It’s great because it’s, like,
while you’re glowing up your physical,
also glowing up your finances.
It’s just I’m loving the habit stack.
So let me know if you adopt it.
