Fantasy Football Busts to Avoid: Travis Kelsey, Derrick Henry, and Rookie Malik Neighbors

Three busts I’m avoiding at cost in fantasy football this year.
Two old guys and a rookie.
The old guy at tight end Travis Kelsey.
Arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history.
We saw the Chiefs pull back the reins just a little bit last year
and what happened? They won a Super Bowl.
There’s no reason for them to push with Kelsey in the regular season
considering they just added Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy.
He’s still a top four tight end for me,
but he’s being drafted as the No..
1 tight end at the 2 3 turn.
I’d rather have Trey McBride.
I’d rather have Sam Laporta.
I’d rather have Mark Andrews.
They’re all going after Travis Kelsey.
The other old guy at running back Eric Henry.
30 years old, going to a new team.
Historically we know that veteran running backs changing teams
generally are worse than they were the prior year.
Last year Henry was RB seventeen.
This year he’s being drafted in Round 2 as a top 12 running back.
I don’t see it happening.
Lamar Jackson’s going to take 30% of the Russian tips in Baltimore.
Justice Hill is going to have a role
as the Ravens keep telling us.
And again, the Ravens,
like the Chiefs, think they’re Super Bowl contenders.
No reason to push a 30 year old running back.
20 touches per game in September and October.
Finally, Malik Neighbors the young guy.
My aversion to drafting him has Nothing to do with the player.
He’s a top top 10 dynasty wide receiver for me.
I think he’s going to be awesome.
I am simply not drafting Daniel Jones,
wide receiver one in the first five rounds.
It’s been a great motto to live by.
That will continue throughout this season.
Jones is a low volume passer who is not accurate
and does not have a good offensive line.
When the live action starts happening,
all these practice highlights we’re seeing are gonna go out the window
because Jones is going to be on his back.
