today we are traveling to check into
one of the best all inclusives in the United States
and one of the best ways to possibly use your chase credit card points
so travel with us today from Austin over to San Jose
California before we make a three hour road trip to this hotel
if you haven’t guessed it yet
we are staying at the Alila Ventana Big Sur in California
it’s an all inclusive resort and spa
and this is ranked one of the best all inclusive properties in the United States
and ranked one of Hyatt’s best properties across the world
we had a very early start to the day at 4:00am
and we went to bed at like midnight
so we didn’t sleep that much last night
but we are so excited to go to the Alila
this is one of those properties everybody raves about
especially in the points world
so this has been a bucket list hotel for us to come to
we rented a car to drive from San Jose over to Big Sur
and the drive is absolutely gorgeous
literally the views from every single direction are so incredible
we even pulled over at one point because we’re like okay
we gotta get out and see this rather than just driving by it
the drive was not bad at all either
it was only like two and a half hours
and like I said it was so beautiful that it just went by so fast
we finally made it to the Alilo
and we got here pretty early
it was like 11:30 and since we got here so early
our room wasn’t ready yet
which is totally fine we just went and grabbed some food here on the property
by the time we finished our room was ready
so now it’s time to check in and enjoy this beautiful resort and spa in Big Sur
California
