Recreating a Scene from Tombstone: A Fun and Dope Design Journey

Wrapped up a back to back session.
Quick little two day, knocked out a lot of work.
It was really fun. A lot of saturation and stuff.
Trying to recreate a scene from the movie Tombstone.
For those of you know the movie.
There’s a scene where he’s about to duel Homeboy
and he fucking was like, say when?
And he said, BA killed him.
Reholstered it. Boom,
that’s it. So we wanted to recreate that in this piece.
And he wanted to add some gambling stuff in there too.
So that’s what we did. So really fun design,
really fun piece. Trying to recreate it and do a portrait of someone
where it’s not the best reference
cause it’s like a screenshot of a movie scene,
so it’s kind of blurry. And stuff I had to do is really like
define and define the features of the face and the shirt and the gun.
And then how do I get it to stand out with everything else?
So that’s why we have like the negative line around some of the stuff.
Because I really wanted it to stand out from all the busyness.
I think it turned out really dope.
It’s really mixing the realistic with the graphic.
Every dope piece I’m gonna do,
we’re gonna vlog it and explain the whole process for you guys.
Just adding value where we can.
