Missed Opportunities: The Unfulfilled Potential of the Fantastic Four Franchise

Due to the failure of the rise of the Silver Surfer,
with the cancellation of the Fantastic Four 3
and many different crossovers,
there’s a lot of things we missed out on. Today.
We’re gonna be going over that.
Originally, Fox was gonna take all the properties that it owned,
which was the X Men, which was Daredevil,
which was the Fantastic Four,
and many more. And they were gonna essentially make it a civil war.
Before the Civil War, though,
it would be X men versus the Fantastic Four,
which then would go off to their Civil War,
which would be Johnny Storm fighting the Molecule Man in Manhattan.
And they would do severe damage.
And people would essentially reach out to the government
and ask to have the chords put down.
At that point, you know,
obviously, it would be X men versus Fantastic Four,
possibly incorporating Avengers with Disney and maybe at some point,
something along those lines.
But it would have been super cool.
And it would have ended with the scroll invasion coming to earth,
hinting at Secret Invasion for the next film.
The craziest part to me is
I just rewatched rise of the Silver Surfer
and Fantastic Four number one today,
and they’re great movies, and they hold up very well.
Yes, they have some cheesy dialogue,
and, yes,
it’s kind of corny,
but a lot of practical effects and just a great film.
So, I don’t know,
would you guys have, like,
To seen it or you guys glad that it’s gone?
Are you guys excited for the new Fantastic Four,
or do you wish we would have brought back this cast?
Let me know down below.
