Maximizing Your Honeymoon with Credit Card Points: A Comprehensive Guide

as a point to mile content creator
one of the most common questions I get is
how do I plant a honeymoon using credit card points
I’m about to have all these wedding expenses
what card should I be putting them on
I played an 18 day honeymoon using credit card points
I have a whole playlist on this
go check it out but this is generally what my advice would be
if you wanna go to an all inclusive hotel in like Mexico Caribbean
something like that then I would plan on going to a Hyatt resort
and for that you wanna use chase points
so you wanna get the Chase Sapphire Preferred
the Chase Sapphire Reserve
and then also delve into the Chase Inc
business cards you don’t need an LLC for these
and these are the cards that have huge bonuses
chase are the only points that can transfer to height
and you can get really really really
really good value using chase points on Hyatt hotels
to get an idea of what type of hotels and resorts they have
go to the Hyatt website and click on this explore map
and you can see all of their hotels and how many points per night they cost
even if you don’t wanna go to an all inclusive hotel
I would also check out their hotels
they have really good stays and places like Hawaii as well
next if you have your eyes set on a place like Bora Bora
the Maldives Fiji
I would go look at what hotels are there
and consider getting a branded hotel credit card for something like IHG Hilton
Marriott a lot of times
Marriott has an offer for five free nights on this Marriott Boundless card
so keep an eye out for that
because you can use that at like
the Fiji um
resort there
two things to keep in mind with these types of cards
their points are not as valuable
so 70,000 of these are a lot less valuable than say
70,000 Chase point also
when are you going if you’re going in like six months
you’re not gonna have enough time to earn enough points and find availability
so make sure you keep that in mind
if you’re doing a honeymoon where you’re traveling around a bit more
maybe you’re going to multiple places in Europe or Costa Rica
I would also recommend checking out the chase cards
because of all the high hotels
and they are the most valuable and flexible points
so they’re very easy to use
especially if you’re not quite sure where you’re going
so pick either the chase card or one of those hotel cards I mentioned
and then you also wanna pair that with another card
I probably recommend the venture or the Venture X
because the venture has an elevated offer right now
and these are the points you’re gonna use to book your flight
strategy is to you get the card
meet the bonus and then you refer your partner to the same card
they get the bonus and then you also get a referral bonus
so you each will wanna get one of these cards
if you’re going with the particular resort route
you would wanna do the same thing
get the card refer your partner
do the same thing second step
get the venture or the venture X
and then refer your partner again to the same card
the venture card right now
elevated offer 75,000 points and a 250 dollar travel credit
so if you guys both with that get that card
that’s like 500 bucks automatically that you could use for the flight
if you want personal advice
I do have a form in my bio that I do free credit card consults
where you fill in your information
what cards you have and I can give you a personalized recommendation
hope this helps let me know what questions you have
