Adventures with My Son: Conquering Roller Coasters and Facing Fears

Y’all the way.
I do not know how I let my son convince me to get on this ride.
When I show you all this next picture,
you are going to be on the floor.
On the floor. Let me show you.
And now, if you follow me on Instagram,
you’ve already seen this. Do not zoom in.
That’s all I ask,
because I was looking crazy, okay?
So my son wants to get on this ride, right?
I don’t do roller coasters.
Ever since I was a kid, I don’t do roller coaster coasters.
I don’t do anything that picks you up,
drops you down. Any drops, loops,
it’s not for me. So we get up to the line, right?
And I see every time somebody does the first drop,
they’re screaming. I’m looking at my son.
My son is looking at me. And I’m over here, like,
trying to be, like,
you know, tough,
but I’m like, you know,
we don’t have to do this. If you.
If you don’t want to, like,
you know, we can go to, like,
the little lazy river. We don’t have to do it.
And I know he wanted to do it.
And at that point, I’m like,
when I tell y’all, I screamed the whole time.
I screamed the whole time.
I went on there twice. Give me my props.
I went on there twice.
But this was the very first time we went on there.
The first picture, you guys,
Seen was the second time I was. Baby,
I was not expecting this. And I’m over here,
I’m like, hold on, son.
Cause he had to be in the front, right?
Because they make. They make you, like,
distribute the weight evenly.
So he had to be at the front,
I had to be in the back. I was so scared.
I was like, oh,
my gosh, like,
cause it was doing a bunch of jump.
I was. It was doing a bunch of jumps,
so I was like, hold on, son.
He’s like, I am, mom,
but when I tell you after,
I was like,
oh, hell no.
I will not let my son convince me to get on another ride.
