Cheesy Chili Weenie Bake: A Delicious One-Pan Meal for the Family

Okay, we just added 2 cans of chili with beans.
Just making sure that we spread it on the whole bottom of the pan here.
Looks good to me. Now we are adding a little bit of red onion.
We’re just gonna come through and drizzle some red onion
all over the top here of this chili
that is looking and smelling so good.
Wait till you guys see this one pan meal.
It is to die for. Ooh,
so good for kids. So good for the family.
My kids love this. My boyfriend loves this.
You know, men love this.
Why do they call it red onion when it’s purple?
I don’t know. Good question.
Why do they call it red onion when it’s purple?
On top of that, a little bit of sharp cheddar cheese.
We’ll just sprinkle a pretty hefty amount on there,
and you can add however much you like.
Hmm. I got the big bag of cheese,
and we’re gonna cheese up this chili
just like that. She’s up the chili.
She’s up the chili.
On top of that, we have some chopped green chilies.
I’m just gonna kind of sprinkle a little bit just like that
on top here with my fork.
I know. Are you a fan of these green chilies?
You can get mild or hot, but I, um.
These are just the mild ones,
and I just think that they put a little good kick to it.
To me, they’re not Too spicy at all.
And I’m not really a huge spicy fan.
Spicy fan. I’m not really a huge fan of spicy.
So I think that if you’re kind of on the fence,
the mild green chilies would work just fine.
Okay,
looking good, smelling good.
We’re off to a good start.
Now we’re just taking our crescent roll,
you’ll stick a little piece of bacon and then your mini weenie on here
and rolling it all up. Look at that.
Just like so. And then we’re gonna go ahead and stick it right there
on top of our chili. You guys,
this is such a great one pan dish that has so much good stuff in it.
Everything that you need is right here.
Here we go. We are finishing up our last couple weenies here,
and we are cruising right along with this.
I just wanna make note and let you guys know
that I did take the crescent rolls
and cut them in half. Um,
because we’re using just these little mini weenies here,
I didn’t wanna use the whole crescent roll,
which leaves us with more dough for more weenies.
So it worked out perfect. There we go.
That’s it. That is it.
Look at how cute that looks with the mini wieners,
the cheese, the chili.
This is like a one stop shop here, seriously.
Um, I’m sticking them in the oven.
Let’s see. It’s gonna go 3:75.
And it said about 10 minutes,
so Um, yeah,
we’ll see. I’ll let you guys know.
I think it’ll only take 10, but I’ll fill you in.
Oh my goodness, look at this.
We are all done. That turned out amazing.
Alright, let’s get in here.
I love this idea with the chili,
the cheese and the weenie in there.
Oh my gosh, look at how cheesy that is.
That looks so good. I’m gonna put a little bit here on the plate,
and then I’m gonna add just a little bit of extra chili on the side
here. Hmm.
Yeah, I know you’re saying hmm,
cause you’ve been asking me to make this all week.
Here you go, babe.
This one’s for you. All right,
why don’t you get over here and taste it?
Cause I know you’re dying to.
I’m gonna cut into this little weenie right here
just for you. Oh yeah.
Look at that bacon. I almost forgot that we put the bacon in there.
I love bacon. Wow,
that looks so good. Ooh,
let’s get a little bit of cheese,
a little bit of chili,
and let’s just get that right on our fork right there.
Yum! It’s falling apart.
Okay, there we go.
Alright, one big bite. Let’s go.
Oh, it’s good, right?
Yeah. You still like it?
You still like it a lot? Yeah. Good.
Okay. Alright,
well, he’s gonna take that.
I have all this, so it’s all good.
But what an easy twist on pigs in a blanket.
I love it.
If you have any other ideas or things you would share to this,
I would love to hear. Let us know.
