Blacksmith Wukong is breaking records.
We have it now at 980,000,
but last night it peaked at 2.2 million.
Just to put it in perspective,
this makes it the biggest single player game launch on steam ever.
There has never been a single player game
with more concurrent players than this.
And bear in mind this is from a Japanese develop or Japanese
a Chinese developer. In China,
the big platform that they use is called Wii Game.
And so this number doesn’t even include Wii game numbers,
which is almost certainly close to to similar.
And it doesn’t count PlayStation 5 numbers.
The point is it’s huge haha.
Like this is a huge, huge launch.
That probably translates roughly to I.
I don’t even know how many sales they’ll predict.
It’s still too early to be able to tell.
But this is a pretty massive launch.
It’s a new IP from a relatively unknown studio,
and it’s finding that level of success, which is pretty rare.
