Black Myth Wukong: A Nostalgic Journey Back to Classic Character Action Games

Black myth Wukong reminds me of a PS two game in like,
the best way. I don’t know what it is about it,
but just. It gives me the same feeling that like,
Shinobi or god of war or Ninja Gaiden did back when I played those.
I don’t know, there’s just a simplistic joy to the game.
Maybe it’s the linearity, maybe it’s just a really fun,
tight combat, but like,
it just doesn’t seem over encumbered of
whole lot of mess
that a lot of modern games feel like they need to add.
Like, it’s almost like
if this was a remake of a PS two game I had just never heard of.
And I don’t know if that sounds like a negative,
but it’s a positive. I’m.
I’m meaning all of this in a positive way.
It’s just a type of game. I feel like we don’t get that much anymore.
And as someone who’s always been a big fan of those
character action games
and feel like we just kind of stopped getting those for a while,
I just. I really love it.
A lot of people are comparing it to souls as a.
Like a soul’s light, but I don’t know,
for me, it just gives me more of a feeling of like,
Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi or something like that.
I’m gonna be playing it pretty much every day in the morning on stream,
so from around 3:00am Pacific time to at least 6:00am Pacific Time.
Might go later, might have other stuff in there.
But if you see me live around that time,
hit that live, come join me.
And if I’m not playing that,
I’m probably streaming something else fun,
so hit the live and come join me regardless.
What do you think about Black Phuc Kong?
