Easy Autumn Puff Pastry Dessert – Apple Pie and Pumpkin Cream Cheese

Make an easy fall recipe. A puff pastry.
I use Peperidge Farms. It comes with two of them.
You’re gonna let it thaw on Parchment paper.
One of them’s gonna be apple pie.
So I’m gonna cut up my apple.
I have to be at this dinner in 45 minutes,
so I’m gonna show you how fast you can make this. Next,
melt some butter in a pan,
adding my apples in, adding in brown sugar,
cinnamon.
Mix it up, let it cook.
While my apple is cooking,
I’m gonna work on my pumpkin one.
So you need a block of cream cheese,
half a cup of sugar, teaspoon of vanilla.
Mix it up. Open your pastry up like a book.
you’re gonna lay cream cheese mixture down in the center of your book.
Now you’re gonna add pumpkin puree to a bowl
just a little bit.
Add a little sugar to it to make it a little bit better tasting.
Some vanilla, too.
Mix it up. Also cinnamon.
Now I’m gonna add it on top of my cream cheese,
spread it out, my apple,
and I’m adding a little bit of cornstarch and water to thicken it up.
You’re gonna cut slits on either side,
and then you’re just gonna fold it over like this
to create a little fancy dinner dessert.
I’m gonna spoon my apples on top,
fold it over.
This is just an egg mixed with a little water for egg wash.
And you’re gonna Paint it on into the oven.
400 for 20 minutes. This is what it looks like out of the oven.
Oh, my god.
This is just powdered sugar and milk,
and I’m gonna put it all over the top.
Welcome to my fall recipe and baking series. So good.
