Title: Uncommitted Delegate Ahmad Howard Speaks Out on Palestinian Representation at Democratic National Convention

So my name is Ahmad Howard.
I am a uncommitted delegate
representing New Jersey’s 18th delegate district.
At 8 p m. Last night,
the uncommitted national movement received word
that they will not be allowing a Palestinian voice
on the main stage of the convention.
The latest that you heard is no,
with no explanation given.
That is correct. You know,
the fast majority of the Democratic Party
is in support of Palestinian human rights
and in support of an arms embargo on Israel
and in support of an immediate permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
There is an ongoing genocide in Gaza.
It’s been 76 years of oppression,
occupation, and ethnic cleansing in Palestine.
We are part of the democratic base.
We’re the democratic majority for Palestine.
And we know that the Democratic Party is our home.
That’s why we’re here, and we’re fighting to have our voices heard.
And it’s time that the world wake up and support the Palestinian cause
for liberation and justice.
