So where do I find my vintage and retro ephemera
that I put into my journals?
The place I find the best ephemera is at estate sales.
I love estate sales.
You find really interesting stuff that is perfect for junk journals.
Often times
I will buy a box of cards that will come with vintage envelopes.
You’ll find lots of other little surprises and goodies.
I never pass on vintage postcards of any kind.
And of course, flash cards are my favorite find of all
recipe cards. I love covering all of the decades too,
so I’ll buy things from the 1920s,
30s, 40s all the way up to the eighties.
So this is actually only one of several places
that I have a lot of my vintage ephemera,
but since I had just reorganized it this morning,
I thought I would answer this question and let you all know.
Another great place to find ephemera is Etsy or eBay.
You are going to pay a little bit more,
but at least you’ll find what you were looking for.
Also, many creators sell ephemera packs in their Etsy shops.
That’s a good place to look as well.
You can get a variety of different things
that you can begin to use in your junk journal, so I hope this helps!
