Creating a Culture of Connection in the Classroom: Partnering with Target for Student Engagement and Inspiration

There’s nothing more important to me in the classroom
than connecting with my kids
in a way that allows them to let their guard down
so that they can truly learn.
This connection is built through so many different ways,
which is why I’m excited to be partnering with target
to show how they provide all the products that I need
to build this culture of connection in my classroom.
Take this Stanley mug for example.
Not only does it keep my coffee hot
and come with a lid to keep me from spilling,
but it also screams trendy and approachable to any middle schooler.
The number of meaningful connections
and conversations that I’ve had with kids
simply because I’m holding a Stanley mug
is actually quite unbelievable.
And also get things at target like snacks that my kids like,
which shows them that I know who they are.
I can get stickers as rewards for a job well done.
Do not underestimate the power of stickers,
even for middle schoolers.
And also these note cards
that I can use to write encouraging notes to my students
when they are just eating it up
and leaving no crumbs in the classroom.
And the best part of this is that since I’m a teacher,
I got 20% off of this store wide purchase through my Target Circle app.
Go to my bio before August 24th
and click on my target storefront link
and easily purchase these items.
